Post-rock vibes or how to calm an anxious spirit

Hey guys!

No blog post for the last weekend, because I was out of town, attending the ARTmania Festival in Sibiu and I tried to stay away from the demon named technology (as much as I could, at least). Honestly, I wanted to write about this event, make a review of some sort, but I've changed my mind. I can say I loved every second of it. The shows, the atmosphere, everything was just great. Like every year, I've met dear friends and lovely artists and I'll treasure these memories and add them to the past ones, since this was my 8th time attending this festival (out of 12).
Looking forward to ARTmania no. 13! 😈

Now let's get back down to Earth. 😒
Since this stupid heat is killing me and I don't feel like writing something too complicated (I have a list, you know?), I was thinking that it would be pretty cool to focus on some musical recommendations, but something a bit different this time.

I listen to a lot of stuff and I sometimes develop obsessions that transform into habits. If I recall well, somewhere around the late autumn of 2015, I came across a new sound for me. Some Facebook friend posted a piece of music and wrote in the description something like "Post-rock at its finest!". I clicked, I listened and I was hooked. I honestly don't remember the band, because I started browsing around immediately for other such bands so that I could form an opinion about this experimental type of music.

I posses a very restless mind and I'm in a constant need of having something soothing next to it, so I can balance the odds and start my day without turning into an anxious hedgehog. It doesn't always work, but I try. So basically most of my weird mornings start with a post-rock album playing in the background. Music is the answer, of course. What did you think?

So without further ado, here are some albums (random order; click their names) that I like and I hope you'll like them too. Enjoy!
